What a week with the wedding of William and Kate, a truly story book event. I heard a comment this week that I agree with, ” Every wedding is a Royal wedding”. That’s how I see it with each bride and groom I speak with, it is their day. I suggest do it your way all the way, some things you think might be to expensive later in life could be a regret, “why didn’t we do that”. This is one of the most joyful times, that includes lots of  family and friends and guest, but a wedding should be the Royal Wedding that the bride and groom are looking for with in themselves. So hire the live Band, get a videographer, invite everyone and have a great time. It is your Royal Wedding, have your way. Barry Taylor – InsideOut Band -Owner

Wow! Sit Down Dinner for your reception is a wonderful event, and I am shore for the quest it is great after the ceremony to come ,sit down and enjoy a wonderful meal. Think about it ,when people sit down to eat they want to talk, eat and socialize. For this some soft jazz or solo piano or combo works well will everyone is eating. So you have to consider that time with your music, usually after desert is when the band starts with the high energy dance music and the party begins. In addition the dance doesn’t usually start till the bride and groom have there fist dance, now that could be before the dinner with announcing the wedding party or after the desert the announcing the first dance and then you start the party. A buffet on the other hand gets the party started from the time the bride and groom arrive, will waiting the the guest are milling around socializing and munching and drinking and the band can play some soft music for waiting ,but not as long as the sit down dinner. You have hired a great live band why not get the party started! On the sit down dinner there should be more time discussed with the band or music for the extra time for the dinner. More food and more time mean more money, less food less time you pay less , this also works into the equation. It ultimately is the Bride and groom choice, our job to make it happen in the way they want. Look forward to your comments.
